How it started

I'm a stay-at-home mom who has always worked, and I really needed a project to keep me sane. I dabbled in reselling while I was pregnant, but I kept searching for something more. Something with more purpose.

Then I saw a mom on Instagram who set up a donation-based thrift store in her garage, selling kids' clothes for $1. That same day, I posted on our local Facebook page about what I wanted to do, and the donations poured in.

Why "Wear Redeemed"

My walk with Jesus started not long before the store did. If you follow Him, you know good works don't get you into heaven, but following Jesus makes you want to do good. This is my contribution to that mission: redeeming the thrifting experience.

Used clothing has gotten overpriced, and when it doesn't sell, it ends up in landfills or is shipped to other countries to deal with. You just don't find real deals anymore. I recently sold a brand-new-with-tags $60 shirt for $2. You know that girl took it home and showed it off to her friends. That's the feeling I want everyone to leave with.

Donated by our community

Every piece comes from your neighbors!

Checked by hand

I look over every piece for stains and wear. What's damaged, I try to upcycle.

Passed on to others

Space is limited, so pieces that don't find a home are donated to local organizations like the homeless shelter and foster closet.
